For our Guests with Disabilities

Gilroy Gardens has designed special attraction entry procedures to safely help guests with disabilities enjoy their park visit. Download the Guest Assistance Guide or visit Guest Services in-park (or check our FAQs here) for more information.

Gilroy Gardens has over 40 rides, gardens and exhibits!

Rides include the Quicksilver Express Mine Coaster themed after a local abandoned mine, South County Backroads and Gilroy Gardens very own railroad! Exhibits include our collection of world famous Circus Trees, a rock maze, and the Learning Sheds. And you won't want to miss our six majestic gardens throughout the park.

  • Apple & Worm Apple & Worm Young visitors will especially love this little green guy as he takes them around a giant apple core. This ride was manufactured in Germany. view map »
  • Artichoke Dip Artichoke Dip Watch out for the "mayonnaise" as you hop inside an artichoke for a rollicking good time! Did You Know...there is one tree in the Park that has not been moved from its original location. This tree is a Coastal Live Oak and it's in the middle of this ride! view map »
  • Balloon Flight Balloon Flight Feel like you are floating through the clouds in this ride for the whole family. view map »
  • Banana Split Banana Split This giant banana swings you back and forth into Gilroy's big beautiful sky. Did You Know? Right next to this ride is a red banana tree! view map »
  • Big Red Engine Co. Big Red Engine Co. These delightful little fire engines are the perfect size for toddlers. view map »
  • Bonfante Railroad Train Ride Bonfante Railroad Train Ride Journey around the park on the Bonfante Railroad with stops at Redwood and Coyote Junctions. This authentic narrow-gauge railroad has custom-designed roofs that allow a full 180-degree view. Our trains are 1/3 scale replicas of an 1863 C.P. Huntington steam locomotive. view map »

  • Claudia's Carousel Claudia's Carousel This beautiful reminder of a simpler time is located in Claudia's Garden. view map »
  • Garlic Twirl Garlic Twirl Climb inside a giant garlic bulb and hold onto your hat as you spin around and around. Did You Know? The olive trees surrounding this ride are over 100 years old! view map »
  • Illions Supreme Carousel Illions Supreme Carousel One of the most ornate carousels ever built and one of only three ever produced by M.C. Illions, this beauty dates back to 1927. It has 64 beveled glass mirrors, 1,200 lights, 96 carved figures and 48 horses lead by our spectacular Rose Horse. view map »
  • Mushroom Swing Mushroom Swing Get a bird's-eye view of the park as you climb aboard a swing suspended from the biggest mushroom you have ever seen. Did You Know? There are about 250 edible varieties of mushrooms! view map »
  • Oak Park Playground Oak Park Playground To keep the kids out of the trees, we designed this play structure where kids can climb, hang, swing and slide to their heart’s content. Did you notice the “kids” on the topiary fence at the back of the playground? view map »
  • Paddle Boats Paddle Boats Relax on Coyote Lake in boats designed like swans and ducks. How fast can you pedal? The ducks and swans in this ride were manufactured in Switzerland. (This water attraction is closed during November and December for winter maintenance.) view map »
  • Panoramic Wheel Panoramic Wheel This one-of-a-kind ride lifts you above our 48-foot greenhouse in a gondola that seats four. Did You Know? A Panoramic Wheel is different from a ferris wheel in that the gondolas allow you to sit facing forward or backward. In a ferris wheel you only face forward! view map »
  • Pinnacles Rock Maze Pinnacles Rock Maze Kids will have a blast finding their way through this rock maze. There are approximately 8 species of trees here. Pinnacles Rock Maze is named after the national monument located in Paicines, California, south of Hollister. It resembles a talus cave system. These caves form when large rocks fall into narrow slots creating natural, negotiable paths. One of the most interesting trees in Pinnacles Rock Maze is the Smoke Tree (Cotinus coggyria). They get their name from the dramatic puffs of "smoke" which develop from the fading flowers. view map »

  • Quicksilver Express Mine Coaster Quicksilver Express Mine Coaster This thrilling mine coaster speeds you through dips and turns surrounded by nearly 600 trees. This ride is unique in that it is one of the first of its kind made by the manufacturer. view map »
  • Rainbow Garden Round Boat Ride Rainbow Garden Round Boat Ride Float through a spectacular annual color garden full of topiary art in a gently swaying boat ride. (This water attraction is closed during November and December for winter maintenance.) view map »
  • Sky Trail Monorail Sky Trail Monorail View Monarch Garden from above as this monorail ride cruises through the top of the greenhouse and west end of the park. view map »
  • South County Backroads South County Backroads Step back in time as you cruise through lavishly landscaped grounds in either a roadster from the 1920's or a Chevy from the 1950's. The choice is yours! This ride area has over 300 mature trees. view map »
  • Strawberry Sundae Strawberry Sundae Where else can you take a spin in a strawberry? Did You Know? The average strawberry has about 200 seeds! view map »
  • Timber Twister Coaster Timber Twister Coaster This rattlesnake-shaped kiddie coaster is tucked away in a hidden glen surrounded by hundreds of trees. The sandstone rocks in this ride area are native to the property. Did You Know? Most fossils can be found in sandstone. view map »
  • Tubs-O-Fun Tubs-O-Fun Small kids will love this version of a teacup ride. view map »
