Gilroy Reads Program
Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park is proud to partner with the Santa Clara County Gilroy Library for Gilroy Reads, a community reading initiative that celebrates the power of books and rewards local residents with a complimentary ticket to the park!
Since its launch in 2012, Gilroy Reads has already inspired over 8,400 visits from dedicated readers. Join the fun and start earning your complimentary ticket today!
How to Participate
- Visit the Gilroy Library – Stop by at least five times throughout the year and check out books or other materials.
- Save Your Checkout Receipts – Keep five checkout receipts from the current year.
- Bring Your Proof – When you’re ready, bring the following to the Gilroy Gardens ticket window:

- A valid library card
- Proof of residency in the City of Gilroy

- Enjoy Your Complimentary Ticket! – Receive a complimentary ticket to Gilroy Gardens and celebrate your love of reading with a day of outdoor family fun!

In addition to rewarding readers, Gilroy Reads brings stories to life with special librarian-led storytimes at The Green Barn inside Gilroy Gardens. Stay tuned for this year’s event dates and join us for an enchanting storytelling experience!
