Volunteer at Gilroy Gardens
Do you love trees, plants and people? We’d love to have you join our team of volunteer docents at Gilroy Gardens! Anyone 18 years or older is welcome to volunteer. It’s a great way to have fun, meet new friends and support our educational mission.
Our training program will cover the history of Gilroy Gardens as well as detailed information about our gardens and our butterfly program. As a volunteer, you will also learn interesting facts about the park to share with visitors. No previous horticulture experience is necessary.
Volunteer Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 hours per month
- One-year commitment
- Morning training sessions available
Volunteer Benefits:
- Unlimited admission to the park and free parking
- Additional complimentary tickets for Docents in good standing
- Discounts at our shops and restaurants
- Monthly newsletter
